I like Current 93 a hell of a lot. It's a truly brilliant work by David Tibet, where everything is perfect: composition, lyrics, performance. And the more people around him, the better work itself.
I could talk about Coil, about Nurse With Wound, but I'm writing about an unremarkable man who wrote strange poems.
David was no stranger to weirdness, both in the meaning of the lyrics and in the sound of music itself. The further his journey went, the more David absorbed the new reality that was forming around him. Because of this, his music - despite its folk format - is memorable and captures the attention of even today's sophisticated listeners.
